Dr Roham Barez qualified in 2001 from King’s College London GKT (Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s) School of Dentistry. He has successfully completed the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Dr Barez held a number of hospital positions including a senior house officer post in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry at Guy’s Hospital and a Staff Grade post in Oral Surgery at King’s College Hospital. These gave him a breadth of experience in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Barez is a general dental practitioner with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, endodontics, periodontics and orthodontics. Dr Barez has been the full time principal dentist at The Dental Gallery since 2006 where he has built up a successful multidisciplinary private dental practice.
At The Dental Gallery he works alongside the Implant Surgeons, the Prosthodontist, the Specialist Endodontist, the Specialist Orthodontist, and the Specialist Periodontist.

After qualifying from The Royal London Hospital in 1992, Dr Shahrzad Rahbaran held a number of hospital positions in Restorative Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1995.
Dr Rahbaran joined the MSc Endodontic programme at The Eastman Dental Institute, and in 1999 completed the MSc with distinction. She went on to lecture postgraduates full-time at The Institute until 2002.
In April 2002, Dr Rahbaran gained the MRD RCS (Master of Restorative Dentistry) and entered the endodontic specialist list. She continued to lecture on a part time basis until 2011, and has had articles and abstracts published in international dental journals.
Dr Rahbaran has been on the executive committee of the prestigious Langham Endodontic Group since 2009 and served as the president of this group from 2014 to 2015.

Dr Cosimo Loperfido is registered by the General Dental Council as a specialist in Periodontics. He received his dental degree “Summa Cum Laude” from the University of Bari (Italy) in 1997, and, after graduating, completed a post-graduate course in oral surgery at the same university, and joined the Italian Navy as a dental officer.
A few years after graduation, Dr Loperfido moved to the Netherlands, where he completed a 3-year post-graduate periodontal training accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).
He obtained his Diploma and Master of Science (MSc.) in Periodontology in 2004 from the University of Nijmegen. Additionally, during those years, he worked as a researcher in the Department of Bio-Materials.
Subsequently, he furthered his training at Loma Linda University, California, where he completed a six-month, full-time “Externship in Implant Dentistry,” followed by a 20-month, full-time “Fellowship in Implant Dentistry”.
Dr Loperfido limits his practice to periodontology and the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry. He has published in international journals and presented at international meetings.
Dr Loperfido works part-time as a postgraduate Clinical Teacher in Periodontology at Guy’s Hospital, King’s College, London, and is also involved in continuing professional development courses for dentists and dental hygienists.

Dr Zahra Al Asaadi qualified in dentistry from King’s College London in 2008 and received her postgraduate qualification of the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) in 2010 from the Royal College of Surgeons England.
She then completed her medical degree in 2014 and her Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons England (MRCS) in 2016 in order to undertake higher surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr Al Asaadi has 12 years of experience in advanced oral surgery including impacted wisdom teeth and surgical extractions.
She has worked in oral and maxillofacial units throughout the UK where she has had extensive training in head and neck surgery including facial trauma, oral cancers and reconstructive surgery as well as managing oral mucosal conditions and temporomandibular joint dysfunction.
As part of her medical training, she has had experience in critical care medicine, ENT surgery, plastic surgery and trauma and orthopaedics. She regularly teaches and trains dentists in oral surgery as well as teaching medical students and junior doctors.
She has presented at numerous international conferences and published in prestigious medical journals.

I joined The Dental Gallery team as a trainee dental nurse in May 2017 and after I became fully qualified dental nurse, I continued to work here. Currently I’m working on dental radiography qualification and I’m planning to pursue more extra qualifications in the future.
